There is Justifiable euphoria in the AIADMK the Tamil Nadu Reservation Bill, which will now become an Act, but keen observers feel that the ordeals for the AIADMK Government are not yet over, in securing the interests of the backward classes on a firm basis.
The General Secretary of the Dravidar Kazhagam, Mr. K. Veeramani alone, these observers say, seems to have sensed the imminent dangers which has made him stress the need to remain wary about the next moves of the anti-reservationists while all other parties had generally welcomed the Presidential assent, and urged for a constitutional amendment to get a permanent protection.
